Public Speaker Joe Tye's Biography:

Joe Tye is America’s Values Coach. He is an authority on values-based life and leadership skills who has worked with many organizations to cultivate a more positive and productive workplace environment. He has also helped many individuals achieve their goals with his trademark program on The Twelve Core Action Values.

Joe earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was class co-president. He is one of the generative leaders profiled by Stanford Professor Michael Ray in his book The Highest Goal.

Prior to founding Paradox 21 in 1994, Joe was chief operating officer for a large community teaching hospital, where he helped lead initiatives that laid the foundation for record-setting operating and financial performance. He was founding president of the Association of Air Medical Services, and a leading activist to protect children from tobacco addiction.

Joe is the author of six books, including the international bestseller Never Fear, Never Quit, and more than a dozen audio programs. He has also produced custom books for client organizations.

Joe is dynamic, passionate, and effective speaker who also knows how to have fun with his audiences. He has presented for organizations as diverse as Auto-Owners Insurance Company (which subsequently commissioned a two-year nationwide speaking tour for all of its agents), Yellow Book USA, Medical Group Management Association, the U.S. National Park Service, MCI, the Planetree Alliance, the Environmental Management Association, and The University of Iowa (all repeat clients).

Today, Joe’s purpose is to help people respark the spirit of mission in their work and the spirit of adventure in their lives, and to help organizations tap into the invisible treasure of that spirit to cultivate more positive, productive, and profitable organizations. He lives with his family in Iowa, but his second home is a tent in the back country of the Grand Canyon.
